Roger McArt, Senior Advisor

Roger has more than 30 years of experience, across a broad range of industries, helping organizations to accomplish their strategic management goals, both as an operating manager and a consultant for some of the nation’s most respected organizations. At JL Board Advisors, he supports clients with compensation consultant selection and CEO performance reviews.

Roger’s background includes positions as a senior engagement manager with McKinsey & Co.; as an operations executive with companies including General Motors, National Semiconductor, Erico Products and Hines Flask Company (where he served as President); as an executive recruiter for Russell Reynolds Associates; and as a senior human resources consultant for Buck Consultants and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He has particular expertise in organizational and management development, and in design and implementation of executive rewards programs including cash compensation, equity-based long-term incentives and executive benefits.  This work often involves resolving issues and achieving consensus between the Compensation Committee and senior management related to competitive pay levels and performance targets.

Roger holds a Bachelor of Arts, Magma cum Laude, from Dartmouth College, and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth.  He also has a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. He is active in his Dartmouth class activities having been a Head Class Agent, Reunion Chairman and most recently, Class President.
